Preparation Time • 1 minute + 2 hours rest
Cooking Time • 3 minutes
Makes 30 pieces
The minister of magic’s guilty pleasure!
In between your two meetings and the three memos you have to write, hurry up and line the bottom and sides of your dish with parchment paper!
Equipment
1 (8-inch) square dish
Parchment paper
1 sealed container
Ingredients
2½ ounces (70 g) crushed walnuts
20 ounces (570 g) chocolate pieces
14 ounces (400 g) sweetened condensed milk
10 ounces (280 g) castor sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Use a levitation charm and mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl.
Microwave for 3 minutes and mix again.
Pour the mixture into the 8-inch square dish (the one you keep in your secret desk drawer for precisely this purpose), smooth out the top with a flattening charm, and let cool for 2 hours.
Trace 6 horizontal lines and 6 vertical lines and cut out your fudge squares (or, if you have them, use the cookie cutter of your choice).
Store in a sealed container and enjoy whenever the need arises!
